Message from Nguyen Dang:
"My name is Nguyen Dang and I have been in the United States for five years. I attended Jamieson Elementary School and recently graduated from Mather High School. My interest in nursing stems from the roles I held during my high school career as the vice president of Red Cross Full Hearts club, the president of the National Honor Society, and an intern at Laurance Armour Day School (LADS).
I wish to continue creating meaningful memories and positive impacts in my community while pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), as a member of UIC Honors College and Guaranteed Professional Program Admissions (GPPA Nursing)."
Nguyen Dang is presented the scholarship award with MCF Executive Director, Omeed Adham Sindy and MCF Board secretary, Andrea Rivera, and MCF Board Treasurer, Dr. Zade Kurdieh
